Bodhi Sykora is a singer, founder of Carinhoso and an experienced vocal coach, based in Amsterdam. Since 1991, she has been teaching at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she combines her passion for music, vocal technique and education with an active performing career.

Growing up in Indonesia in a multicultural family, Bodhi was surrounded by different cultures, languages and musical traditions from an early age. She inherited her love for music from her grandfather, a professional cellist, who became an important inspiration in her musical journey.

After studying Pedagogy at Utrecht University, she followed her passion for music and continued her studies in Jazz Vocals at the conservatory. Since then, performing and teaching have always been closely connected throughout her career.

As the founder and vocalist of Carinhoso, she brings the beauty and emotion of Brazilian music to audiences, while as a vocal coach she inspires singers to discover their own voice and artistic expression.
